Helping Nonprofits Win on the Web

For non-profit’s, winning in today’s down economy can be a tough proposition! Giving is trending downward, donors are thinking about their own financial survival and large marketing budgets seem to be running dry.

On the other side of the equation, here at MinistryBox we’re helping clients all over the country leverage technology on the web to do more with less, save money and increase communications with their donor base for a fraction of what they may have been spending. How do we do it? Let me tell you a story...

Recently, a successful non-profit organization came to us with a need for a redesigned website, but there was a caveat - it had to pay for itself. Luckily, MinistryBox is a high ROI investment for our clients, so that was an easy conversation to have with the leaders of that group. Here’s how we made it work...

Like most non-profits, they had put together a solution with lots of moving parts and no integration. Individually, they were using solutions for Email Communication, Calendar, Online Media, Membership and Financial management. Not to mention the headache of trying to manage their website! (Who’s that guy that did our website again?) Here’s the kicker... all of those solutions had an individual price tag, adding up to over $150/mo. In addition, no one person knew how to manage all of it and most of those functions had to be completed inside the local organizational office sitting in front of a computer!

With MinistryBox, we were able to offer a solution that gave the organization a complete technology platform that handles all their Membership, Online Donations, Communications, Calendar, Media and Website Management for less than what they were paying previously. Better still, everyone in the office can easily access the information online - from the comfort of their office or their home.

The real win here is that through implementing this solution, now the organization can spend more time communicating with donors & volunteers and less on managing a disparate group of technology tools. Bottom line? More time to do what they do best, less time and money on ‘time-sucking-technology-tools’.

Are you ready to see MinistryBox for yourself? Come on, you know you want to!

Making Life Easier for Pastors

Just the other day I received a call from a pastor in Metro Atlanta who was getting ready to re-launch their church under a new name and ‘identity’ in the community. He said someone in their church recommeded they speak to us, since we are regarded as experts in websites and back office solutions for churches. Needless to say, I was happy to take their call!

The next day, we were able to set up a demo for the pastor and part of his leadership team. After walking through the details of how MinistryBox would be able to support their current ministry and give them plenty of room for growth, all the pastor could say was “Wow!”

“You Mean You Do All That?”
Then what happened next was truly a miracle... a speechless pastor. I dug a little deeper in my conversation with the pastor and discovered they needed to develop a new logo with coordinated printed and online promo materials for the new launch. I asked him how he’d like to have just one company to work with who could handle all that for him under one roof. He was speechless. Then, after a few seconds he said “You mean you do all that?” “Yes sir, we sure do!” I said. He chuckled and said “Brother, you just made my life a whole lot easier!”

Making Life Easier
It’s easy to understand the surprised reaction of this pastor. Most churches we’ve served over the years have a history of putting together a hodge-podge solution for their website and marketing - usually based on a “resident expert” within the pews. That can be a good solution in some situations, but more often than not, we find pastors coming to us with stories of unmet expectations, hurt feelings and communications - like their website and supporting print materials - that are still lacking effectiveness.

At MinistryBox, we’ve assembled a team of church marketing experts that will hold your hand through every step of your website design and coordinating marketing projects. Whether it’s a facelift on your current website, or a complete church identity makeover complete with logo, web and print collateral, we make life easier by being the one place that can handle it all. And the best part? We do it affordably, quickly and with a focus on your ministry goals - not on some cookie-cutter, ‘one-size-fits-all” approach.

New Ministry Partner

Today MinistryBox launched a partnership with the Southeastern District of the Foursquare Denomination to provide websites for over 180 district churches through our easy-to-use church management software solution. In partnership with the district, Ministrybox will help churches to adopt the new technology and integrate it into the day-to-day operations of their church.

The vision for this relationship came from Bishop Scott Reece, after he saw a demonstration of MinistryBox. His desire was to enable every church within his district to have a website and to begin to leverage technology to support the ministry of district churches. To enhance district integration, MinistryBox will provide a section on each church website that will display district-generated content like news, events and special interest information. With the click of a button, every church in the district will have access to the same information - automatically. It's truly a seamless process.

For more information on how MinistryBox can help to unify your association or district of churches, please contact Director of Marketing, Matt Tommey at (770) 795-0089 or matt.tommey@ministrybox.org
